In the Box
I received the Seagate Backup Plus Slim device along with a USB cable to connect it with a laptop and a quick startup guide in the box.
Warranty
This hard disk has a warranty of 3years and you can view the same by visiting the warranty validation site after you complete the registration of your product online.
Performance
The product functions very smoothly. When you first plug it in, you can register it online and download the Seagate dashboard for a more arranged functionality but downloading this is completely optional.
Available Space
The device has a storage space of 931GB out of which 930GB was free as there were some files like the warranty PDF, initial setup guide, etc already stored in the device. Along with this product, I got 200GB of free cloud storage.
Connectivity
This drive uses a standard blue USB 3.0 cable (included) that is backward compatible with USB 2.0 meaning that you can plug it into any Mac or PC.
And the cable is not much flexible as WD HDD. But it feels premium quality than WD.
Look
I bought this product in red color. The look is very sleek and has a matte finish on the body. It has an LED on the front, top left corner, and a Seagate logo on the front, bottom right corner.

Price: As per the price is concern device comes with the MRP price of Rs. 7,999 is mentioned in the box but you can buy this product from Amazon and it cost Rs. 4,600 approximately.

According to me ‘Seagate Backup Plus Slim’ is one of the best external portable drives available in the market under 5k rupee. It’s so slick and small. The best comparison would be a cigarette packet! Yes, the dimensions are compact! Just go for it, you surely going to love it.
