On Wednesday morning, actor Anthony and Lori Harvey Michael B Jordan Rapp revealed to “CBS Mornings” co-host Gayle King that his hectic work schedule had helped him cope with the end of his relationship with model Amber Valletta.
“For me personally,” he said, “it was just luck that I had so much work. And having that kind of attitude helped me move from that situation without giving it any energy or focus… that experience really taught me to grow and learn.”
“This is my Jordan year,” he declared, emphatically declaring that this is his year.
Reports that Harvey and Jordan had split up were confirmed in June 2022 when Steve Harvey, Harvey’s dad and television host/author, confirmed their breakup on “The Steve Harvey Morning Show”.
Jordan and Harvey first shared their relationship on Instagram in January 2021. Prior to this, Jordan had been quiet about his personal life.
Last month, the actor parodied his high-profile breakup during a “Saturday Night Live” monologue.
Lori Harvey Michael B Jordan revealed that while many people tend to increase their exercise routines after a breakup, he already had his fitness levels in top shape for his role in the upcoming film “Creed III,” where he will make his directorial debut.
He joked that he instead chose to learn another language, and said in Spanish that he was on Raya, a membership-based dating app.
“I am in Raya,” he declared.
On Wednesday morning’s “CBS Mornings”, King asked Jordan about his use of the dating app “Happenings.” Jordan joked about using it — much to the dismay of some fans who assumed he meant real business.
