Lapras counters : Lapras Raid Day in ‘Pokémon Go’: Start Time, Shiny Lapras, and Best Counters

Players of Pokémon Go are in the midset of the game’s annual Raid Week, which features some of the game’s most powerful and unusual Pokémon.

This is a fantastic chance to catch Metagross and Tyranitar without needing to collect enough candies to develop them from their pre-evolved forms. The Lapras Raid Day, on the other hand, is one of the greatest draws of Pokémon Go’s Raid Week this year.

Trainers in Pokémon Go will be able to battle and catch as many Lapras as they can locate in Raids for a few hours this weekend. This makes catching one of these uncommon species simple, and its Shiny version will be available as well.

If you want to get the most out of Lapras Raid Day, here’s everything you need to know, including the start time and the best Pokémon to use in combat.

TIME TO START AND END A LAPRAS RAID DAY

Saturday, May 25th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time, is Lapras Raid Day. If you’re in the Americas, Greenland, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or India, you’ve come to the right place.

NEWSWEEK SUBSCRIPTION OFFERS > The Lapras Raid Day begins on Sunday, May 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time if you’re playing Pokémon Go in Asia-Pacific countries.

HOW TO GET GLAMOROUS LAPRAS

Trainers in Pokémon Go will be able to visit every Lapras-occupied Gym during the three-hour event session. This provides the most possibilities for trainers to combat and catch them.

During this event, players will earn five free Raid Passes. To acquire your free Raid Pass, simply visit five different Gyms. Of course, more Raid Passes can be purchased for 100 Coins at the in-game store.

It’s pure luck if you get a Shiny Lapras during this event. You’ll face a regular Lapras, but if you overcome it, you’ll advance to the Raid’s capture stage. Trainers will see if they have a chance to catch a Shiny Lapras at this point.

Shiny Lapras’ colour shifts from bright blue to deep purple.
