Bleach anime return :  The Anime ‘Bleach’ Will Return in 2021; ‘Burn the Witch’ Will Be Serialized and Animated

The Bleach anime is back after an eight-year hiatus!

The popular Shonen series created by Tite Kubo will return in 2021, according to a recent issue of Jump Magazine in Japan. The “Thousand-Year Blood War,” which begins in Chapter 480 of the manga and ends in Chapter 686, will be covered in the anime.

There were no other details about the anime adaption released.

Bleach fans were heartbroken when the anime was cancelled in 2012 after the “Fullbringer” storyline was completed.

The series’ discontinuation was not given an official explanation, although many believe that mounting production expenses and the animation catching up to the manga too rapidly were important causes.

The Bleach manga is still available on Shonen Jump for fans to read. The first few chapters are available for free, but the remainder is only available to paid subscribers.

Burn the Witch, a Kubo one-shot that first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump in June 2018, will be serialised starting this summer, with an anime adaptation following in the fall.

Burn the Witch is set in the same universe as Bleach, but it follows a gang of Shinigami 12 years after the “Thousand-Year Blood War.” Burn the Witch is also set in London rather than Japan.

Burn the Witch is being produced by Studio Colorido, with Tatsuro Kawano listed as the director and Yuina Yamada as Noel Niihashi and Asami Tano as Spangle Ninii as the two female leads.

Kubo revealed that Burn the Witch will be a “short-term serialisation” in a short interview with Jump.

In other manga/anime news, Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru will complete its run with Chapter 43, according to the latest edition of Jump. It’s also available on Shonen Jump.

Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of the still-popular Naruto series, released Samurai 8, a much-anticipated new narrative.

The plot centres on Hachimaru, a crippled young man who transforms into a cosmic warrior in order to preserve the cosmos from the bad guys.

While this is an oversimplification, Samurai 8 was unable to attain the same level of popularity and praise as Kishimoto’s earlier work.

Naruto was a manga that ran from 1999 to 2014 and had 700 chapters. From 2002 until 2017, a 500-episode anime adaptation would air.

Boruto is a continuation of the storey that follows the next generation of ninjas. This included a cast of young ninjas, including Naruto’s son, the eponymous character, and Sasuke’s daughter.

Kishimoto does not write Boruto; he merely supervises it. Boruto is written by Ukyo Kodachi, with Mikio Ikemotoon drawing.

The storey first appeared in Shonen Jump in 2016 and is currently ongoing. Boruto’s anime adaption is also still going.
