Dylan Marie Dreyer was born August 2, 1981. She is an American television weatherman who works for NBC News. She is today’s 3rd hour anchor.
Dreyer is a regular guest on weekdays, as a weather correspondent or fill-in for Al Roker or Carson Daly. Also, she appears on The Weather Channel as well as NBC Nightly News.
After having been employed at the WHDH in Boston (Massachusetts) since 2007, Dreyer joined NBC News.

Dreyer was raised in Manalapan Township in New Jersey. She attended Manalapan high school where she played softball. In 2003, she received a bachelor’s degree in meteorology at Rutgers University. Dreyer interned briefly at WeatherWorks in Hackettstown NJ, while in college.

Dreyer suffered mild brain damage after being involved in a car accident while she was driving to cover the blizzard for Today on February 9, 2013.
Dreyer, in addition to her meteorological duties is also the host of the NBC education nature program Earth Odyssey avec Dylan Dreyer broadcasted on The Most You Know block programming on NBC.

In 2012, Dylan was married to Brian Fichera, NBC News cameraman and producer.
They currently live in New York. Dreyer, who was pregnant with her first child, announced her pregnancy on Today. Calvin, her first child, was born to Dreyer on December 17, 2016.
Dreyer, who was due to give birth in December 2016, announced on Today her intention to have her second child in January 2020. She gave birth to Oliver, her second child, on January 2, 2020.
She gave birth to Russell James on September 29, 2021. She will be on the Third Hour, but her last day on Weekend Today was January 29, 2022.
Dreyer’s grandmother Doris Milke was a record-holder on the first version of The Price Is Right in 1963.
