Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date on Netflix

Demon Slayer season 2 :  Update, The event has passed, but there is still no word on a release date.

Given how close we are to 2021, this is somewhat surprising. However, as far as we know, the show will still be released this year.

When will the release date for Demon Slayer Season 2 be announced?

Fans of Demon Slayer had been excitedly awaiting the launch of the second season, while filling in with the interim Mugen Train film, which went on to become Japan’s most popular film in history and performed exceptionally well in the West.

We’ve known for a long time that Demon Slayer season 2 will premiere in 2021, and now there’s an announcement for a date and more details.

On July 13 at 7 p.m. JST, “Kimestu TV, New Information Announcement Special” will air, containing new information regarding Demon Slayer season 2, as well as a programme starring several of the show’s voice actors, specifically Tanjiro and Tengen Uzui’s.

It will air on the Aniplex YouTube account and, hopefully, will reveal when season 2 will be released.

Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira, was prominently featured in the trailer, hinting that he will play a significant role in this season, similar to how the Flame Hashira had a significant role in Mugen Train. Hopefully, he…doesn’t have such a bad time.

Given that this is an anime series that has achieved a level of popularity we haven’t seen before in many areas, including Mugen Train and general curiosity on streaming sites, I predict Demon Slayer season 2 will shatter a few records in terms of consumption when it airs.

The manga, which has sold 150 million copies worldwide and is the tenth best-selling manga of all time, has left plenty of room for Demon Slayer to run for a long time, and that’s without considering potential spin-offs.

In short, it appears that Demon Slayer is only just getting started after season 1 and its film, and fans can anticipate it to be a pop culture force for quite some time as the anime continues to generate new seasons and its fandom grows.

This past year, Netflix released Demon Slayer, which helped develop a Western following, and everyone is looking forward to season 2.

So, further information and very certainly a release date will be available on Tuesday, July 13th. Let’s hope it’s in a couple of weeks rather than five months from now.
