Angela Michelle Harmon was born August 10, 1972. She is an American actress, model and singer. At 15 years old, she won Seventeen’s modeling contest.
She signed with IMG Models and was featured on covers of magazines like Cosmopolitan or Esquire.
She was the first to act on Baywatch Nights (1995-1997), and received four Screen Actors Guild Award nominations as Abbie Carmichael (1998-2001).
Harmon has also appeared in many film roles, including the role of Barbara Gordon in Batman Beyond : Return of the Joker ((2000)) and Ronica Miles as Agent Cody Banks ((2003)).
After playing the roles of Rose and Lindsay Boxer on the critically acclaimed film Seraphim Falls (2006), Harmon was praised for her role as Jane Rizzoli in TNT’s series Rizzoli & Islands (2010-2016).

She was born in the Dallas suburban of Highland Park in Texas. She is the daughter of Daphne Demar ( , nee Caravageli), and Lawrence Paul Harmon, an Dallas, Texas hospital information network executive.
Her father is German and Irish, and her mother is Greek. Harmon discovered that her German ancestor served in George Washington’s army during the American Revolutionary War.
That ancestor later purchased land in Mercer County in Kentucky. A distant branch of her family still owns the land.

Harmon was a child-model and won in 1987 a Seventeen modeling contest. From Highland Park High School to 1990, Harmon was a member the Highland Belles.
Shortly afterward she won the Spectrum Model Search contest. She went on to have a successful modeling career and was well-known in the 1990s.
She was a runway model for Calvin Klein and Giorgio Armani and also appeared on covers of Cosmopolitan, Esquire, and ELLE. She is currently signed by IMG Models, New York City.
