Carty kidnapped her with the help of three men to steal her newborn son. Raymundo Cabrera, Rodriguez’s husband, who was in bed with his wife and baby when they were stolen, testified that he was beaten and tied up by the intruders.

Rodriguez’s daughter, Carty, arrived at Rodriguez’s Houston home with scrubs and scissors, intending to cut the baby out of Rodriguez, even though the infant had already been delivered four days earlier.

The deceased was discovered in the boot of Carty’s car and was later determined to have died of suffocation;
however, her son was found alive and unharmed in another vehicle.

In punishment for her activities as a drug informant, she claims she was implicated by her co-defendants, who were drug dealers. She maintains her innocence, claiming that she was not involved in the crime.

She was sentenced to death for the crime in 2002. Linda was born in Saint Kitts and Nevis and is currently 63. At the time, she was a British colony.

In 1982, she relocated to the United States. She committed a heinous crime for which she was sentenced to death in 2001.

On February 19, 2002, she was found guilty and sentenced to death by lethal injection. Her appeals were rejected countless times. Linda Carty’s tale is featured in one of ITV’s documentary series episodes.
