Venkatesh Daggubati: Daggubati Venkatesh (born December 13, 1960) is an Indian actor who is best known for his Telugu films. Venkatesh made his acting debut in 1986 with the film Kaliyuga Pandavulu, for which he earned his first Nandi Award. Venkatesh was nominated for five Nandi Awards for Best Actor for his roles in Swarna Kamalam, Prema, Dharma Chakram, Ganesh, Kalisundam Raa, and Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule, as well as six Filmfare Awards South in different categories.

He co-owns Suresh Productions with his brother D. Suresh Babu, one of India’s largest film production companies, for which he has worked in many films. He is also the coach of the Telugu Warriors, who play in the Celebrity Cricket League for Telugu cinema (Tollywood).

Venkatesh Daggubati Personal life

Venkatesh and Neeraja married in 1985 and have four children: three daughters and one son. His eldest daughter Aashritha married Vinayak Reddy, the grandson of Hyderabad Race Club chairman R. Surender Reddy. Venkatesh’s sister Lakshmi married actor Nagarjuna and has a son named Naga Chaitanya with him.

Early life of Venkatesh Daggubati

Venkatesh was born on December 13, 1960, in Karamchedu village, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, India, to film producer and former Member of Parliament D. Ramanaidu and Rajeshwari. Suresh Babu, his older brother, owns Suresh Productions, and Lakshmi, his younger sister.

Venkatesh attended Don Bosco School in Egmore, Chennai, and graduated from Loyola College in Chennai with a bachelor’s degree in commerce. He received his MBA from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California, in the United States. Debut and early career, 1986–1989

Venkatesh made his acting debut in the 1971 film Prema Nagar as a child actor. His first film as a full-fledged lead was the K. Raghavendra Rao-directed Kaliyuga Pandavulu (1986), in which he co-starred with Khushbu Sundar. He received a Nandi Special Jury Award for the film. [two]

Venkatesh made his acting debut in the 1988 film Swarnakamalam, directed by K. Viswanath. The film received many awards, including the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film and the Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Film, at the 1988 International Film Festival of India, Asia-Pacific Film Festival, and Ann Arbor Film Festival. 1990–2012: Commercial success

He played a young man in the 1990 film Bobbili Raja who tries to right a wrong done to his mother. The box office success of the film proved to be a watershed moment in his career. A year later, he co-starred with Sridevi in Ram Gopal Varma’s road movie Kshana Kshanam. Venkatesh played a small-time thief in the film, which is regarded as one of Telugu cinema’s best thrillers. His performance as an innocent villager in Chanti (1992) is also noteworthy. Venkatesh made his Hindi film debut in 1993 with Anari, a remake of his film Chanti. He later appeared in Taqdeerwala (1995).

In 1996, he received both the Nandi Award and the Filmfare Award South for his performance as an upright lawyer in Dharma Chakram.

Commercial success

Later that year, he starred as a husband torn between two wives in the comedy drama Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu, directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana, which was also a hit. He portrayed an individual battling against the ills of the Indian public healthcare system in Ganesh (1998). Venkatesh made his acting debut in the romantic action film Preminchukundam Raa the following year. The film was a huge commercial success, and it was one of the first depictions of factionalism in the Rayalaseema region. Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu co-starred in the critically acclaimed drama film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu in 2013. Venkatesh went on to star in other multi-starrer films such as Masala (2013), Gopala Gopala (2015), and F2: Fun and Frustration after this film, which is considered to be the first Telugu multi-starrer film in recent decades (2019).
