According to the latest record in the Indian Army, The Indian Armed Forces is the third largest troop ever after the United States and the China. The General J.J Singh is the Chief of the Indian Army.

In the Jammu Kashmir operations, this Great Indian Army soldier, Naik Jadu Nath Singh, who was born on the year of 21st November,1916. He showed the more excessive courage in the Jammu Kashmir operations of the year 1947 and was also awarded with the bravery award Param Vir Chakra.
2. General Jagjit Singh Aurora
General Jagjit Singh AuroraIn the Year of 1971, Bangladesh Liberation War. This Great India Army Soldier, Lt. General Jagjit Singh Aurora was born on the year of 13th February, 1916. This great Indian commander is also belonged to a Sikh family.
This great Commander of the army just after the completion of his graduation he joined the Indian Army and also during the Indo-China conflict he became the Brigadier. This great fighter of the Indian Army passed away on the year of 3rd May,2005.
3. Sanjay Kumar
Sanjay KumarIn the Year of 1999, Kargil War. This Great Indian Army Soldier, on that time of Kargil war Sanjay Kumar was the head scout of the Indian Army during the war of Kargil.

4. General Krishnaswamy Sundarji
General Krishnaswamy SundarjiGeneral Krishnaswamy Sundarji was one of the most famous and competent generals of the Indian Army and he was Born on the year of 28 April 1930 at Chengelpet, in Tamil Nadu.
He firsly joined the college of Madras Christian College, but left the college before he receiving a degree to join the army.
And After that he graduated from the Defence Services Staff College in Wellington, before moving on to the General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth in USA and the National Defence College in New Delhi.
He also received a Master’s in the International Studies from the Allahabad University which followed by another Master’s degree in the Defence Studies from the Madras University. In the year of 1963, he is a part of the Indian contingent in the UN mission in Congo.
He also served as a Brigadier General in the Rangpur sector of the Bangladesh during the year of 1971 in the Indo-Pak war. After that he was promoted to the rank of Major General in the year of1974. He passed away in the year of 1998.
5. Field Marshal Kodandera Madappa Cariappa
Field Marshal Kodandera Madappa CariappaField Marshal Kodandera Madappa Cariappa was born on the year of 28 January 1899 in Coorg. After comleting his formal education at Madikeri, he went further on to study at the Presidency College of Madras.
He was also an Active sportsmen. Cariappa is one among the select few who was selected for the first batch of King’s Commissioned Indian Officers at the Daly Cadet College in the state of Indore and was also commissioned in the Carnatic Infantry.
He went on to become the first Indian officer in the Indian Army to undergo the course at Staff College, Quetta in the year of 1933. In the year 1946, he got promoted to as The Brigadier of the Frontier Brigade Group.
The K.M Cariappa saw some of the action in Iraq, Syria and Iran from the years of 1941-1942 and then after in Burma in the years of 1943-1944 and he became the first Indian Officer to be given command of a unit in the year of 1942.
Again, He went on receive many awards and appreciations in his distinguished career.
He served as the India’s High Commissioner to the Australia and the New Zealand.
