Premam, which first came out in 2015 under Alphone Puthre’s direction, will re-release in Tamil Nadu theatres soon according to India Today reports. Starring Nivin Pauly, Madonna Sebastian, Sai Pallavi and Anupama Parameswaran in its cast is set for another theatrical run now that bookings for it have opened again in selected theatres within Tamil Nadu.

This film will hit theatres ahead of Valentines day 2024.

“Premam”, directed by Alphonse, ran in Tamil Nadu for over 200 days and remains one of the cult classics today. Following Mani Ratnam’s “Alaipayuthey”, Alphonse’s romantic drama garnered huge admiration and fan followings.

Premam will re-release in Tamil Nadu theatres beginning February 1, and many theatre owners took to social media to officially announce its return.

Re-releases of classic Tamil films have seen immense success among fans in recent times, and it is anticipated that ‘Premam’, with its impressive premam movie box office collection, will create the same excitement among audiences that Dhanush’s ‘3’ and Jiiva’s ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ did last December.

Premam will re-release in cinemas this month, along with several other Tamil films.
