The Cliffside Course at Barton Creek Resort and Spa outside of Austin Texas, Sand Hills in Nebraska, The Golf Club at Cuscowilla in Georgia and Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale Arizona.
Their design philosophy is to create strategically captivating courses that blend in with the natural terrain and minimize dirt movement to maximize playability.
Those characteristics have earned them a reputation for producing courses that are fun to play for all levels of golfers.
Mike Keiser, a developer, approached Bill Coore, Ben Crenshaw, and asked them to design a Sand Valley course. The duo quickly responded with a resounding, yes. They have been successful because they only take on a few projects each year.

The site of our resort was once the floor of a glacial lake that covered much of central Wisconsin about 18,000 years ago.
The lake was drain after an ice dam collapse, which cause massive floods that drove through Wisconsin Dells.
These huge floods then carved the hills into our current property.
The Sand Hills, a part of America’s Great Plains that is unique and unbroken in its time, are one of the best preserv areas.
These hills are make of the sand that was erod by North America’s massive Pleistocene glaciers. They have been stabiliz by grassland plants.
Designed to be fun for all levels of golfers
Sand Valley, a great place to play heathland golf is the latest Keiser creation.
Located in Central Wisconsin, just over an hour north of Madison in the town of Rome, the resort is tuck among the tumbling prehistoric sand dunes.
The first course was designe by Bill Coore, Ben Crenshaw and Ben Crenshaw. They are both avid links golf lovers. It opened May 2017.
A fun 17-hole short course, the Sandbox, also by Crenshaw and Coore, followed shortly after.
This route reflects the terrain, with windy conditions, sand dunes and fairways. This is all part of the experience that the Keiser family strived to create.
