I enjoy the notion of The Diamond Mine as a pro wrestling battle camp, and I think Roderick Strong will beat Kushida for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship soon.
Hideki Suzuki was praised as the coach, Roderick Strong as the fighter, and Tyler Rust as the prospect in a backstage promo by Malcolm Bivens.
I was already having a hard time getting enthusiastic about Bobby Fish, but now that he can’t even beat the prospect, I’m completely turned off.
Sarray is the winner. Dolin, Gigi
With a kick to the face of Gigi Dolin and a high-angle suplex that hit directly on the back of Dolin’s head, Sarray worked this match hard.
As much as the Pavlovian Internet Wrestling Community may scoff at Mandy Rose joining NXT, she can be a fine wrestler when matched up against the appropriate opponent—as she proved last month against Natalya at Hell in a Cell—and I have no doubt she’ll have good matchups against Sarray.

Dexter Lumis spent the majority of the first several minutes of this bout climbing around (and under) the ring.
I was under the impression that WWE was preparing Santos Escobar for a possible NXT championship run if and when Karrion Kross was brought up, but his victory resulted in a heel vs. heel brawl with Hit Row.
During the LA Knight-Cameron Grimes butler episode, where he was forced to mow the lawn with a handheld lawnmower, I enjoyed the production value and above view of the property.
Defeat for Duke Hudson Jiro Ikemen
Duke Hudson gave a very captivating promo, and it’s so nice to see large guys with personalities in NXT instead of the small “rassler” prototype that has started to pollute the place.
Hudson reminded Wade Barrett of a younger Wade Barrett, which is an accurate comparison.
There were no Canadian Destroyers, no “fight forever,” no “both these people,” no workrate…it was just a pro wrestling encounter between a big heel and a small babyface, and the crowd loved it.
Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro defeated each other. Aliyah and Jessi Kamea are sisters.
With a double-team neckbreaker/450 Splash by Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter, this contest came to a fantastic conclusion.
By the time it’s all said and done, Robert Stone is going to be beaten up by every lady on this roster.
Simply simply turning on Stone, Aliyah became the building’s largest babyface.
Bronson Reed takes on Adam Cole.
Adam Cole’s claim that Kyle O’Reilly’s win didn’t count since it was an unofficial bout was classic heel strategy of having a fair point but presenting it in a jerky manner.
On this show, Samoa Joe can’t seem to make enough enemies. It doesn’t appear to be a question of whether, but rather when he will return.
There’s been a lot of buzz about Bronson Reed maybe going to the. It’s becoming increasingly perplexing that he lost the NXT North American Championship on the main roster.

The purposeful shot of Samoa Joe menacingly folding his arms in the backdrop while Karrion Kross was completing his entrance felt like a segment to sell Samoa Joe vs. Karrion Kross.
Johnny Gargano didn’t cosplay as Kevin Nash at Starrcade ’98, so he didn’t stand a chance in this one.
“Johnny Wrestling!” chants the crowd. ” demonstrates how unconcerned they are with who NXT has booked as the heel in this match. In fact, this heel vs. heel encounter demonstrates how unconcerned NXT is about developing babyfaces.
I was reminded of Shawn Michaels’ disastrous bump on the casket at Royal Rumble 1998 when Johnny Gargano took a horrific bump on the edge of a table.
Kross’ power bombs into the Doomsday Saito were incredible.
