K Praveen, a resident of Thiruthangal in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, was accepted into the Indian Book of Records at the age of 20 after officials certified that his tongue measured a whopping 10.8 centimeters.

Praveen has a tongue that is 10.8 cm in length, which qualifies him for the world record for the most extended language. On February 26, 2021, his tongue was measured from the tip of the stretched tongue to the back half of the tongue.

Nick Stoeberl of Salinas, California, now holds the world’s most extended tongue (male) record. Nick’s tongue measured 10.1 cm in 2012, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Last year, Praveen, a BE robotics student, broke the Asia Book of Records by touching his nose with his tongue 219 times in one minute.

He can not only touch his nose with his tongue, but he can also almost touch his eye with it. He’s working hard to get his tongue to touch his eyelids.

With his extra-large tongue, he can easily handle the side of his nose and elbow. In practice, he can hide his tongue in his nasal cavity, and he refers to the prank as the “invisible tongue.” He can even draw and create letters with his tongue as a brush.

Due to a lack of funding, Praveen has been unable to contact Guinness World Records. He is raising funds to be recognized internationally for his extraordinary achievements.
