Divine Fragmentation: Here Are The Complete Quest Steps For The Divinity Exotic In ‘Destiny 2’
It’s time for our first genuine exotic quest of Shadowkeep. Sure, we had the Deathbringer rocket launcher, but that was more or less presented as part of the main story.

Now we’ve got Divinity, an exotic trace rifle that dropped after the world’s first completion of the Garden of Salvation raid for everyone to enjoy, and it’s isn’t quite presented to guardians on a silver platter like the Deathbringer quest was.
It’s not very difficult, at the end of the day, though it does require heading into the Garden of Salvation to complete.
If you want to quest after it you’ll want to know how to start and what to do after that, so here are the complete quest steps and guide for your perusal.
Step 1: Go to the gate and kill a bunch of Vex.
This thing starts at the entrance to the Garden of Salvation raid, but you won’t need a full fireteam of six to take it on.
It requires you to kill a massive horde of Vex, but they’re relatively slow-moving and easy to handle, so you should be able to do this solo without any trouble. Here’s a full guide and directions if you’re lost.
Step 2: Go to Nessus and analyze some data cores.
Step 2 requires you to get a little more information on the Vex, and there’s no better place to do that than our favorite unstable Centaur.
There are three lost sectors with secret rooms over on Nessus, and you’ll need to analyze all three cores to progress. For locations of all the data cores and how to find them, click here for a guide.
Step 3: Kill a bunch of Vex.
This one you can do more or less by accident. Killing Vex on the moon or in the Black Garden gets you decryption cores, and you need 120 to progress.
A single clear of the Vex Offensive should handle this pretty well if you’ve unlocked it, otherwise you can wait for them to invade the moon and waste them as you move through.
Step 4: Into the raid.
You’ll need to go to the Garden of Salvation Raid to get this done, so that’s where this relatively simple quest gets a whole lot harder.
Unlocking Divinity has to do with heading into secret rooms throughout the raid that cause tethers to appear, but very few people have completed the raid yet and we’re still gathering more information on this.
It’s unclear right now if you need a raid clear to make this happen, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case. Regardless, stay tuned for more information on the last step.
