They wrote that they are deeply saddened to learn of the sudden demise of the former Test Cricketer.
Adding further, they wrote they shared their sincere thoughts and respects with his family and friends, in particular his daughter.
Reports confirm that the opening batter took his last breath on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
He was 82 at the time of his passing which has saddened many people to their core. Tributes have poured in for the cricketer on social media.
Following the announcement of the news, tributary posts and condolence messages flooded the internet.
It is no doubt to say that his sudden passing has shattered many of his fans’ hearts.

Who Was Bruce Murray?
In February 1968, Bruce Murray made his debut and if we directly talk about his international career, he went on to represent the Black Caps in 13 Tests.
At an average of 23.92, the cricketer accumulated a total of 598 runs. These games also include five half-centuries while one time, he scored 90 runs that he scored against Pakistan during an away Test Series in Lahore in 1969.
Let us tell you that he scored against Pakistan in that series is his highest score.
Even though the cricketer had a short international career, fortune, and success, it did not come easily to him and he worked hard for that.
It was in the 1968-69 season when he was given a chance against India and he made sure that his skills made an impact and it did as well as he managed to score 54 runs on debut.
