Apple MacBook Air 13.3-inch Laptop Review (Core i5/8GB/128GB/Mac OS X/Integrated Graphics)
Excellent Laptop from Apple. Let me be honest here, I have always been a Windows user and skeptical about using Mac.
This is my first macbook, using it for a month now and thoroughly satisfied.
I order MacBook Air from Amazon Store and I delivered the product within 3 days. I’m full time blogger and a part YouTuber. I always love to writing articles on my macbook air and even video editing is just fun. Sometime I edit more than 10GB files on Final Cut Pro video editing software and trust me I works like a charm.
This is my first Apple product. As expected the build quality is outstanding. When it was quoted 12 hours battery backup, I just thought it is an exaggerated number, but just got amazed at real backup; it almost matches. The charging speed is also very impressive. Though Linux and windows has suspend option, MAC suspend mode is unique. Very interesting thing is the laptop never gets heated.
Apple MacBook Air 13.3-inch Laptop Short Review:
> Light weight – 1.35 kg.
> Build quality is best (unimetal body).
> Contains 128gb SSD yes it is less but ssd is quite faster then HDD (had to bought an external HDD though) therefore app loads in no time and boot time is less.
> Display is good (yes it is nt retina but nt the worst).
> Backlit keyboard with good typing feedback.
> Battery – I am getting 8-9 hr on my usage (wifi on , brightness 60-70℅).
>Overall a good deal at this price range.
Price bought: Rs. 59,500/- During some kind of sale. As father told me.
- Excellent build quality
- Unmatched weight, size specs
- Decent (rather good) performance with near extensive usage (I have 20 tabs open in Chrome usually)
- With Intel Processors, it can now run VMs, and believe me, vm runs very smooth
- easy to carry and easy to transport
- Very light weight
- Cheaper than ever
- It takes time for Thinkpad users to get used to the keyboard, the keyboard spacings are higher than other laptops.
- Magnetic Charging point is less than perfect.
- It stopped charging one day, which I found after googling that is a known issue with static, so some workaround is needed in that case. Didn’t face it since.
My Final Words:
This is an amazing machine under 55k. If you are professional, travelled and college student & light users and others. I would highly recommend this to buy blindly. Hope this review helps, As it’s high end laptop. Make sure you make right decision before you buy. First ask yourself why it suite me? before hitting the buy button.
