Players in Destiny 2 can earn the Exotic Lumina weapon by completing the system placement device task at the Sinking Docks, Nessus, and a few additional locations. It takes a few steps to accomplish, but once you do, you’ll be rewarded with a strong new weapon.
You must first travel to the EDZ and then to the north of the Trostland. You will next proceed to the Salt Mines, where you will find the Transmat.
When you use the item, you’ll be transferred to a new location. Continue walking until you reach a purple barrier.
To find a chest, jump on the guard rail next to it and check within a little enclave. A letter will be found inside, instructing you to the next place from your signalling device.

The Nessus Chest is a little more difficult to locate, but if you follow the methods in the video, you should be able to locate it.
The Vex Crossroads public quest on Mercury is the only way to find the Mercury Lighthouse quest.

You’ll need to generate 250 Orbs of Light now that you’ve opened all eight chests. You’ll get the Rose Hand Cannon once that’s done. Before you may acquire the perks of the purple weapon, you must complete three quests.
Join Forces: With a score of 50,000 or higher, complete a Nightfall strike.
Defend the Light: Without reloading your weapon, defeat many enemy combatants in a row.
Take on the Horde: Complete the Blind Well, any of the Black Armory forges, or Escalation Protocol encounters.
The Rose Hand Cannon will be used in Fireteam tasks as the following phase.
The objective will be completed faster if you fight alongside other Rose Hand Cannon users. You don’t have to accomplish a certain number of missions; all you have to do is fill the gun’s progress bar.
After that, you must generate 35 Orbs of Light, kill all Invaders in Gambit without losing a single comrade, and achieve 100% Guardian Kills in PVP.
With a hand cannon armed, you must enter the strike Will of the Thousands and reclaim the light from 11 distinct sources. You’ve just unlocked Lumina, so congrats.
The following are Lumina’s benefits:
Noble Rounds: This weapon leaves behind Remnants after a kill. When you absorb a Remnant, it transforms your next hipfired shot into an ally-seeking Noble Round and partially refills the magazine.
Blessing of the Sky: Using a Noble Round on an ally heals them and gives you and them a short-term weapon damage bonus.
