The 2022 Audi Etron GT is an attractive electric luxury car that offers plenty of acceleration and a fun driving experience. It’s also connected to many of the latest safety features.

Standard e-tron GT is capable of sprinting to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The RS version can do the same in 3.1 seconds. The price of the more powerful model will depend on your driving habits and how you spend it.

2022 Audi e-Tron gt  Exterior

Like the Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan, the 2022 audi e-tron gt is an EV that looks great, drives fast, and produces zero emissions. But unlike the two, the e-tron GT can comfortably seat four adults.

Its exterior is a menacing, sleek package that demands attention. The grille is inverted and has a honeycomb-style design. It also features available HD Matrix-design headlights that feature Audi laser technology.

Powered by a 93-kWh battery and two synchronous electric motors, the base-level e-tron GT Quattro produces 590 horsepower, and the RS e-tron GT can produce up to 637. RS trim also includes a lightweight, high-strength, five-layer carbon fiber reinforced plastic roof.

The e-tron GT’s cabin design is similar to other Audi models. However, it does take some styling risks. The interior is more user-friendly because there are controls for climate and driving modes, rather than the standard second screen on most Audi models.

Interior

The 2022 audi e-tron gt is a great place to be inside, with 14-way powered seats that are wonderfully comfortable and supportive. The materials are befitting of a luxury vehicle at a six-figure starting price.

It is simple and large, featuring a 12.3 inch driver information screen and a 10.1-inch touchscreen to show vehicle and infotainment functions. There are also physical buttons and knobs for temperature control, sound system volume, and drive mode/traction control settings. It is a more effective approach than most new EVs’ info screens and switch configurations. This forces you to focus on the road, rather than letting it do the heavy lifting.

Front passengers get ample room, though rears are constrained due to the car’s shape. Seating is grippy and well-bolstered, with 14-way adjustment for the front buckets and deep-dished rear seats that are very comfortable.

Performance

The 2022 Audi e-tron gt is one of the most engaging and athletic luxury electric cars we’ve ever test driven. The Audi e-tron gt’s styling and performance are comparable to the Porsche Taycan. However, its interior stands out from most other electric cars in the segment.

The standard e-tron GT produces 469 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque from its two electric motors. With the launch-control overboost option, this figure increases to 522 horsepower and 472 lbft.

The e-tron GT accelerated from 0-60 mph to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds during our acceleration tests. That’s slightly quicker than the RS, which sprinted to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and tops out at 155 mph.

Ingolstadt made a bold decision to concentrate on GT performance. It’s a risky move, but the result is an exciting new entry in the German automaker’s line-up that will outsell its confused rival four to one.

Technology

Audi’s 2022 E-tron GT electric car combines high-performance driving with emotive design. Its chiseled exterior and Matrix LED headlights are bold and stylish, while its reworked interior is equally dynamic.

Its performance is rooted in its 800-volt propulsion architecture, which allows faster charging to rejuvenate the battery from five to 80 percent in just 22 minutes.

The standard etron GT model has a range of 238 miles, while the RS model is able to go 232 miles.

It is an electric vehicle that can change your driving experience. The EV packs two electric motors that can produce as much as 522 horsepower.

Its dual-speed transmission offers a first gear for accelerating quickly and a second gear for highway cruising. Audi aims for the e-tron GT to be as quick and responsive as an internal combustion engine.
