Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi (There Is Only One Life) is a 2017 Telugu coming-of-age drama film directed and written by Kishore Tirumala, featuring Ram Pothineni, Lavanya Tripathi, Anupama Parameswaran and Sree Vishnu in lead roles. It was released on 27 October 2017 to positive reviews from critics and audiences, before also being released as No.1 Dilwala for release later in 2019 along with its Hindi dubbing in 2019.

The film follows five childhood friends Abhi, Vasu, Sai, Satish and Koushik who meet as adults; Abhi owns a restaurant in Milan where he becomes friends with Shreya; however she ultimately falls for him and proposes marriage; Abhi declines and instead tells her a piece of his past by way of flashback.
Abhi and his friends are close, always there for one another. Things shift however when Abhi and Vasu fall in love with Mahalakshmi a.k.a Maha, an undergraduate medical student. Abhi gives her the chance to sing in his band after hearing her beautiful classical voice; Vasu gets approval from Maha’s parents so that she may participate in his program with ease. When both realize they love Maha, they decide to ask her which of them she prefers: Maha ultimately chooses Vasu over Abhi!
Abhi is unconcerned; however, Vasu begins ignoring him in favor of spending more time with Maha. Additionally, instead of visiting Abhi’s mother’s grave on her death date as is customary each year, he attends Maha’s parents’ anniversary instead – leading them both into conflict as Vasu claims that priorities change with time; Abhi takes offense at this claim and leaves for Milan without telling anyone about his departure.
Abhi meets Vasu’s sister Ramya at his own restaurant and learns of Maha’s death in a car accident four years prior. Abhi feels bad for losing Maha as well as feeling responsible for Vasu’s unfortunate circumstances; upon learning of Sai’s marriage date he decides to attend it himself.
Abhi leaves for Ooty for Sai’s marriage only to find that Vasu had become dull and lifeless after Maha’s passing away, withdrawing into himself for some days after Abhi had abandoned him when needed most. They meet Meghana (also known as Maggie) and Kanuka who act as wedding planners and soon meet Meghana as Maggie for Sai’s marriage ceremony.
Under Abhi’s direction, Sai’s wedding to Srushti is postponed due to an argument between Sai’s mother and Srushti over Srushti’s dog. Abhi attempts to repair things between Sai and Srushti but fails. Furthermore, Abhi tries to cheer Vasu up by taking him various places and meeting new people.
Abhi slowly develops feelings for Maggie, an energetic and cheery young lady whom he later helps fulfill her dream of becoming a fashion designer by sponsoring her education in Paris. Maggie falls for Abhi but does not express it directly.
Vasu recognizes his unfair treatment of Abhi and apologizes profusely. He suggests he move on with life by accepting Shreya’s proposal since she truly loves him. Abhi agrees but before leaving for Milan he confesses his love to Maggie and asks her to join.
Maggie was taken aback when Abhi told her about his confession but happily accepted it. They both set off together for Milan while Vasu remained behind with his friends in Ooty.
