Victoria Muthoni Theuri went Missing

Victoria Muthoni Theuri, a student in Public Policy and Administration, was reported missing on Christmas Day. She informed her parents in Kahawa Sukari (Kiambu county) that she was missing.
Her parents called her sister to ask if she would stay at her home or return home if she didn’t arrive home that night.
She didn’t return home as usual and her phone was not in range.
Victoria’s parents claimed Victoria called her sister to ask if she was coming or not.
According to police, her sister claimed that Victoria had never seen her.
The parents reported the incident to Kahawa Sukari Police Station.
How Victoria Muthoni Theuri died?
According to other officials, Victoria had problems with her parents but had never disappeared before. Worse, her school was still in session when she became pregnant with a man she did not know.
Even though her pregnancy was a major challenge to her relationship with her parents she continued to live in a wealthy neighborhood and continue to attend school, as she had promised.
Police claim they know that she spent time at Alvo House with her boyfriend before returning home after school.
As her family searched for her, people around her started to smell something bad coming from one the locked units.
A neighbor said,
“The man who lives there was not around and we found it odd that there was a bad smell coming out of the house.”
Police Investigation
Police arrived at the house on December 29 and used welders for the demolition of the door. Victoria’s body was found in the living room, with no obvious injuries. She died at least three days before her death, according to authorities.
Victoria’s lover was arrested immediately after he left for his rural home.
To be questioned, he was taken to Ruiru’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations office.
Christmas Day was a day when the boyfriend claimed that he had left Victoria at home and moved to his parents’ house.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the student at university.
Security officers responded by investigating the situation and starting an inquiry. They also asked the family and public to remain calm during the entire process.
Authorities have also asked anyone with information that could aid the investigation to contact security officials or report it directly to the local police station.
