Where the Twilight Cast is Today?

Nobody anticipated the mania that the independent film Twilight, which was released in the year 2008, would bring about for the film industry and fan culture.

Despite the subdued undertone, Paramount Pictures didn’t anticipate Twilight to become the most popular DVD of 2009. The $3.3 billion franchise is still among the top 10 most watched titles on Netflix 12 years later.

Despite the embarrassment with which they may look back on it, the cast can undoubtedly thank the franchise for giving the start to their acting careers.

Midnight Sun, the most current installment of Stephanie Mayer’s story, has raised some questions regarding the performers’ interest in participating in future films.

Let’s check out the Twilight cast current locations in light of that.

Kellan Lutz: Twilight Cast

After playing Emmett in the Twilight franchise, Kellan Lutz’s acting career may not have taken off to the same heights as Robert Pattinson’s, but he has nonetheless had some success.

He has taken part in a few small supporting parts, such as the eye candy in What Men Want (2019), but he has also played the lead in films like The Guardians of the Tomb (2018).

But Kenny Crosby’s performance in the crime thriller TV series FBI: Most Wanted has to be the one that has garnered him the most attention.

Lutz had to make the difficult decision to leave the TV show in order to devote his attention to his family after losing his daughter six months into his wife’s pregnancy and the global pandemic striking in the midst of it all.

Ashley Greene

Alice, played by Ashley Greene, is undoubtedly one of the series’ most popular characters.

Everyone’s perspective was always brought down to earth by her reason and capacity for foresight. Greene has provided Barbara Gordon’s voice in Batman: Arkham Asylum ever since Twilight.

Her most recent production was the 2021 horror film Aftermath, which has some really brutal moments.

She also starred in the British action movie One Shot about Navy SEALs if you want more action than dread (2021). She will co-star with Nicolas Cage in the murder thriller Retirement Plan for her forthcoming movie (2022).

Jackson Rathbone

Jackson Rathbone has been performing in a variety of parts after leaving Twilight, albeit in less significant ones. His portrayal of Sokka in the whitewashed version of Avatar: The Last Airbender stands out as the most notable (2010).

He has drawn criticism for taking the job despite having little to no Asian ancestry and for never admitting why it is viewed as problematic. In the 2020 haunted romance Until We Meet Again, in which he co-starred with Janel Parrish, he played the spirit of a well-known pianist.

His most recent endeavors include the Netflix comedy Mixtape (2021) and the still-in-post-production film Zero Road, which is about a bright young man who must turn to drug trafficking in order to save his family.

Nikki Reed

Reed’s acting career hasn’t really taken off in comparison to those of her coworkers, which is a shame considering how much depth she was able to add to Rosalie with the limited resources she was given.

Reed has worked in a variety of professions for which she has a passion outside acting. Reed and her husband Ian Somerhalder have long been concerned about the environment. She has launched a line of sustainable vegan sneakers in collaboration with the shoe business Loci and her own collection of eco-friendly jewelry.

Not to be overlooked is her ardent support for animal rights, for which she has partnered with numerous groups.

Taylor Lautner

Taylor Lautner has never been able to shed his Jacob persona, despite being one of the three main leads in the well-known love triangle.

The actor was only 17 when the first Twilight film debuted, which is concerning not only because of the fame he had to deal with at that young age, which occasionally made him afraid to go out in public, but also because of how he spent his adolescence being sexualized for his body since the majority of his scenes were shirtless.

His career includes included supporting roles for him. He most recently appeared in the Netflix film Home Team, which was released in January 2022.

Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick’s ascent to fame was unaffected by the fact that she only had a minor role in Twilight. She gained notoriety as Beca, the lead character in the Pitch Perfect trilogy.

She not only demonstrated her singing abilities in the movies, but one of her songs from the movies, “Cups,” also became a worldwide hit. She didn’t stop there, though! Love Life, her most recent Netflix television series, has been a huge hit because it shows the complicated relationships of Darby Carter, played by Kendrick.

Watch Kendrick in her most recent film, Stowaway, if you want to cry yourself to sleep (2021). Her involvement in the upcoming American-Canadian thriller Alice, Darling is also rumored.

Robert Pattinson

On to the top stars now! Robert Pattinson has been attempting valiantly to remove his Edward persona, and he has succeeded admirably in establishing himself in a field unrelated to the Twilight franchise.

One may say that Pattinson’s role as the lead in Tenet (2020) was the crucial step he needed to take to get the public’s esteem. He also had a solid reputation after appearing in The Lighthouse with Willem Dafoe (2019).

But now that The Batman has been released, we can say with absolute certainty that Robert Pattinson has emerged as one of the most well-known performers of our day.

He is also in talks to appear in the upcoming Warner Bros. film directed by Bong Joon Ho, as if that weren’t enough.

Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart has also shown she is capable of moving past Bella, joining Pattinson in steadily becoming as the actor of our generation.

Over time, people have come to see that she is a brilliant actress and that the majority of the early hostility she faced was motivated by misogyny.

She has an Oscar nomination to support this, after all. Yes, she lived up to expectations in the much-anticipated role of Princess Diana in Spencer (2021), and with the 2022 Academy Awards just around the corner, let’s hope she has silenced the naysayers for good.

She is rumored to star in David Cronenberg’s science fiction film Crimes of the Future, and she has also been talking about making The Chronology of Water her directorial debut.
