Rock garden or also known as Nek Chand Rock Garden is a garden in Chandigarh that is spread in huge 25 acre area. This rock garden was discovered or found by Nek Chand who was a transport official. It was started in 1957 and it took almost 20 long years to make all the statues and sculptures in the garden. There are thousands of rock sculptures that are made by rock, remaining stones, leftover of some villages that were destroyed to make Chandigarh city. Some structure or sculptures that you will see there are manmade waterfalls, dancing dolls made of broken bangles, etc. Not only is this there over 2000 sculptures made by him. 2. Zakir Hussain Rose Garden

Zakir Hussain Rose garden is a botanical garden in the city that is spread in area of more than 30 acres. This is largest garden in Asia.

This garden has over 1600 species of rose. There are bushes, flower beds and various other uses of rose. This garden was open in 1967. There are over 50,000 rose plants that look beautiful in the garden.

Other than this once in a year, a cultural festival is conducted at Zakir Hussain Rose Garden.

3. Sukhna Lake
