There are many things in the world that can be kill us but we typically found that our veggies and fruits a pretty safe to have them in our every day life.

So, it may come as a surprise to know that many foods that you eat every day are actually quite poisonous and should be eaten with proper precautions. So, Here I am going to discuss some of the foods that we eat regularly in our daily life that are actually poisonous.

1. Nutmeg

It’s known as a hallucinogen that we are all using in the kitchen. Reports after using this just a teaspoon of nutmeg, show horrible psychological effects in a person and even worse side effects.

These includes the symptoms of nausea, elevated heart rate, dry mouth, vomiting, which can last for several days. Other side effects such as loss of balance and lack of concentration can last over a week. It is best to use the nutmeg as a spice.

2. Mushrooms

Mushrooms are quite nutritious as well, however, 5% of mushrooms are toxic. some mushrooms that are poisonous are brightly colored and easy to tell, most of the deadliest mushrooms have a same exterior.

For example, one of the deadliest mushrooms in the world is called the Death Cap, and rightfully so as its earned its name by being responsible for the death of Roman emperor Claudius, Russian star, and a pope. Its appearance is similar to several edible mushrooms.

3. Kidney beans

They contain large amounts of the glycoprotein lectin. As few as four uncooked beans could cause extreme symptoms of nausea, diarrhea and vomiting. In Many cases relating to kidney poisoning were due to “slow cookers” which did not reach a high enough temperature to destroy the lectin. Likely, to say that you should be concentrate while boiling these kidney beans and avoid such extreme level of symptoms which cause to death.

4. Apples

Apple seeds contain cyanide. Cyanide is extremely toxic to humans and has been linked to many famous murders and suicides. If more of them are eaten, it can cause the symptoms of vomiting and other side effects. Other fruits like Peach and apricot pits also contain cyanide.

5. Green Potatoes

It is very rare and not heard of while eating potatoes cause death. The Potatoes contains excessive amounts of solanine which could lead to poisoning. So, Eating enough green potatoes could kill you.

6. Raw Cashews

It is not to believe that “raw” cashews in your local supermarket are not actually raw and have been treated or polished with steam urushiol, a chemical that’s also present in poison ivy.

So, Consuming this chemical will lead to similar effects to poison ivy and can possibly even kill you. It is better to not consume too much of raw cahews as it leads to death.
