MILWAUKEE — One teen is dead and five women are injured following a firing in Milwaukee overnight.

The firing happed near 14th and Concordia shortly before 1130p.m. Monday night, for an argument that led to a firing with multiple firing victims.

Police said a 15- time-old boy was pronounced dead on the scene and five people were injured a 22- time-old woman, an 18- time-old woman, a 21- time-old woman, a 19- time-old woman, and a 22- time-old woman.

We spoke to several neighbors who didn’t want to go on camera, but say it’s not uncommon to hear gunfire. They say they’re sick of feeling unsafe in their community and of youthful people dying.

” It’s scary. I am so shook up I was not suitable to go to work,” a neighbor said.

Milwaukee Police say seven children under the age of 17 have been killed fromJan. 1 to March 20, 2023.

Police are probing the circumstances that led to the firing and are seeking unknown suspects.

The megacity saw a 23 drop in motor vehicle thefts. MPD’s database shows there were,486 auto thefts in 2021 compared to,090 in 2022. thievery was also an area of crime that dropped. When compared to 2021 figures, thievery went down 14 in Milwaukee in 2022. Non-fatal blowups remained about the same with 873 in 2021 and 877 in 2022.
