What is Taylor Nolan’s name?
Nolan is a past Bachelor candidate who is 27 years old. She first appeared on the show in Nick Viall’s season in 2017. At the time, Nolan was only 23 years old. She went on to appear in Bachelor in Paradise, where she met participant Derek Peth, despite not winning that season.
The couple fell in love right away and were engaged shortly after the show. However, in June 2018, the two decided to end their relationship.
Nolan is now a mental health counsellor, according to her Instagram name, but it is unknown where she works. Taylor Nolan was one of the show’s most popular ex-contestants until recently.
However, a number of her previous tweets have lately resurfaced on Twitter and Reddit, in which she is shown insulting minority groups such as Indians, Asians and the Jewish community. Her tweets had a homophobic tone to them as well.
What did Taylor Nolan have to say in response to these tweets?
Taylor Nolan’s posts drew a lot of backlash on Twitter, even from some past Bachelor candidates. On February 28, after the tweets went viral, Nolan posted a series of Instagram posts and a 30-minute apology video in which she apologised for her remarks.
“My tweets from ten years ago are s****, they suck, they were incorrect, and they are cruel,” Nolan stated in the video. I want to be clear that they don’t detract from the work I perform today; in fact, they are the reason I’m here.”
To my fellow BIPOC community and the other people I injured in those tweets, I see you, I hope you see me, we’re in this together, and I’m sorry I didn’t always stand with you,” she continued.
I apologise for focusing on whiteness and the whiteness around me. I’m sorry I wasn’t more helpful back then, but I’m here now and always will be.” Only a few hours after they were posted, the videos were removed.
Taylor then headed to Instagram to make her announcement. “Yesterday’s response was a reaction, not an apology,” the statement stated. I’m sorry I didn’t take the time to double-check. I apologise to everyone.”

According to People Magazine, Kaitlyn Bristowe, a past candidate on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette franchises, expressed her surprise at Taylor Nolan’s statements on her Instagram stories.
Nolan claims to be doing all of this work, which should not be discounted, but it cannot be used as a justification to explain the tweets, according to the former participant.
