Search A Chest In A Ghost Town: Halloween is quickly approaching, and children are preparing to go out and ask strangers for candy. This is, without a doubt, the happiest time of the year.
It’s also the start of Fortnite’s massive ‘Fortnitemares’ event, which includes a new Storm King LTM that pits players against a massive mega-boss, new cosmetics and skins, and fresh new free tasks and rewards–including this pretty lovely umbrella.
Players must search a chest in a Haunted Forest, a Ghost Town, and a Spooky Farm as part of one of these challenges. We’ll show you where to find the Ghost Town for the sake of this post.

Here’s how to find a chest in a Spooky Farm. The Ghost Town, unlike the other two places for this challenge, is not a named location. This makes it much more difficult to locate. Fortunately, we have a map for you:

The Ghost Town is located in G1 in the northeastern region of the map, just north and west of Steamy Stacks, as you can see.
This is a Landmark, not a Named Location, and it has been ghostified for the Fortnitemares event.
You’ll receive XP and be that much closer to earning that sweet, sweet Umbrella once you’ve collected all three chests from all three places.
