Samsung On7 Pro Review

If you are looking for a Samsung device in the 10k price point, then On7 pro offers decent features. I order the device from Amazon and I deliver it within 3 days, always trusted.

The Samsung Galaxy On 7 Pro is average at best, and does little to differentiate itself from the competition. There are far better options in the form of the Moto G4 or the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.But if you want a brand then most of the times its Samsung, as it is more reliable than others.

Positive side is 3 proper slots including 2 SIM and 1 memory card, support JIO SIM with VoLTE, huge battery 3000 NaH, trusted Sanpdragon 410 processor and last but not least it looks like a S Note. As for downside it is 2 GB RAM/ 16 GB ROM which is good for any normal user, but not for heavy user. Also it lacks some sensors which will be find in some other devices. But overall it is an galaxy device . Looks premium and does everything better and last for few years.

As for Mi Note 4. I am not Mi Phone fan. Heard a lot about massive heating issue, screen colour issue and worst part is the Chinese app store with Chinese apps. Unless you are a very heavy gamer and do not mind the hybrid slot and will keep the device only for few month, than you can go for it. Otherwise On7 Pro is the best.

Gaming:

This phone sports a 1.3 Ghz Snapdragon 410 chipset along with the Adreno 306 GPU which is adequate for most common games. The combination of the 1.3 Ghz CPU with Adreno 306 and 2 GB of RAM will let you play even graphic intensive games like Riptide GP2, Asphalt 8, Mortal Kombat X etc with ease. However, with some games with a higher level of graphic activity like the Nova 3 and Modern Combat 5, you might experience slight frame drops occasionally while playing at high graphic settings. With low to medium graphic settings, these games will play absolutely smooth.

Camera:

The phone has an 13 MP, f/2.1 rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 5 MP, f/2.2 front facing camera. The rear facing camera is capable of shooting videos in Full HD (1980 x 1080). No Optical/ Digital Stabilization present on this camera.

The camera is good for the price range and takes decent shots in outdoor conditions and even indoors during the day. The focusing isn’t the fastest and the Dynamic Range isn’t great either but unless you’re a pro photographer, you shouldn’t have much complaints with the shots taken with the camera of the Samsung On7 PRO.

Price: As per the price is concern you can buy Samsung On7 Pro smartphone directly from amazon at Rs. 8,740 approx.

Pros:

  • Good storage 16GB ROM around 10GB available And 2GB RAM
  • 13 mp rear And 5 front camera
  • 5.5 inch good display
  • 3000mah battery
  • Good design
  • 4G on both sims
  • Flash is quite bright
  • Cameras are also of good quality

Cons:

  • Sound quality is Low
  • Heating issues
  • Design should be like j7 (16)
  • Battery is not giving backup which A 3000 mah should give
  • looks like 2500 mah
  • Takes more than three hours for full charging

My Final Words:

Within a budget of 10K, if you’re looking for high end specifications – then this device is not for you. There are a lot of other devices which will give you better specifications at the same budget but trust me they won’t come with the brand name, Samsung. If you are planning to buy a smartphone under 10k then simply go for it. Hope this review helps you make an informed decision.
