If you’re a fan of Netflix’s Red Notice 2 then you’ll be excited to hear that two more sequels are in the works! Director Rawson Marshall Thurb is in the midst of writing the script for both movies, which are set to be film back-to-back.

It’s not surprising that Netflix would like to see the first movie again. The film was Netflix’s top-rate movie in 2021. Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds are three of the biggest stars in the world, so we’re sure that this will be a busy franchise!

Red Notice 2 Cast

The cast of Netflix’s Red Notice includes A-listers like Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot. The film has received mediocre reviews despite its star salaries.

The film’s plot follows an FBI profiler (John Hartley) as he attempts to catch a pair of art thieves, Nolan Booth and “The Bishop.”

Then, he teams up with Interpol agent Urvashi das (Gal Gadot), to track down the famous third Egg of Cleopatra. There are many twists and turns along the way. Hartley is reveal to be the principal villain in the movie.

Deadline reports that director Rawson Marshall Thurber is returning to direct the sequels. The start date will depend on availability of stars Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne John, and Gal Gadot.

It’s report that they’ll be shooting back-to-back, which should allow for some scheduling finesse. If all goes well, Red Notice 2 could hit theaters as early as 2023!

Release date

On November 12, 2021, Netflix released the first Red Notice. It instantly became a huge hit. It set an opening day record on the streaming service and was also the most-watched movie within 28 days of its release date.

The movie is an action comedy that stars Dwayne John as FBI Special Agent John Hartley.

Hartley teams up with Nolan Booth, Ryan Reynolds’s Nolan Booth to catch The Bishop (the most wanted art thief in the world). All three have ulterior motives and nothing is as it seems.

Red Notice, despite mixed reviews from critics, became the Netflix’s most watched film in its first weekend. It is still the number one movie on Netflix.

Two sequels were releas by Netflix after the success of Red Notice.

Plot

Interpol issues a global alert to capture and hunt the most wanted people in the world. But when an daring heist brings together the FBI’s top profiler and two rival criminals, the stakes are higher than ever.

With a cast featuring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot, Red Notice has big potential. It fails to live up to its potential, mixing action and cliche.

The plot is largely derivative of numerous better movies, and it doesn’t seem to have much of its own character development. It’s also hamper by a greenscreen that takes away from the movie’s visual impact.

Despite all of that, it’s still a fun watch thanks to some great one-liners from Reynolds and good chemistry from the rest of the cast.

However, the film’s heist formula is tire and doesn’t live up to its enormous budget and viewing figures.

Trailer

Streaming hit Red Notice has become Netflix’s most popular movie ever, and now the streaming service is ready to make the next chapter in the story. According to Deadline, the streaming service is working on two sequels to the outrageously funny spy thriller.

The plot follows a heist that brings together two rival criminals and an Interpol agent. They’re all on the hunt for a treasure worth a million dollars.

However, there’s one big problem with the film. Nolan Booth, played by Ryan Reynolds, is the main character. he presents himself as world’s greatest artist thief.

Booth’s friend John Hartley (Dwayne John Johnson) teams up with Inspector Das from Interpol to capture him.

Now Booth, Hartley and The Bishop are on the run for a high-stakes heist that will rival all heists in history.
