Lila Bakery had an ardent fan in Ryan Reynolds, the actor and entrepreneur. Reynolds ordered 10 dozen cookies from Lila before posting a video of himself eating one on Twitter with the message: “This Raspberry Rally by Lila Bakes was truly unforgettable – thank you world.”

How did Raspberry Rally start a bidding war on eBay?
Lila quickly found herself overwhelmed by the surge in cookie orders she was receiving and decided to cap production at 100 dozen per week, selling them first come, first serve. Additionally, her price increased to $10 per dozen so as to cover her costs and donate more funds back to her school.
However, this did not stop people from wanting her cookies; some even resorting to purchasing them from customers who had already received their orders and reselling them at exorbitant prices on eBay; the highest bid for one dozen Raspberry Rally cookies ever reached $1,000, becoming one of the most expensive cookies in history.
Lila was bewildered at how quickly her cookies had become popular on eBay and was touched that Reynolds showed his support by ordering more from her anytime he wanted! Lila expressed how proud she was of raising funds for her school as well as inspiring other kids to follow their passions.
What is next for Raspberry Rally?
Lila plans on continuing her Raspberry Rally cookie business as long as people want them. She also mentioned some new flavor experiments she wants to try out and her dreams of opening her own bakery one day.
She stated that she wants to use her platform to raise awareness and funds for causes close to her heart, such as animal welfare, environmental preservation and social justice. She believes anyone can make an impactful change with their talents and creativity.
Raspberry Rally is more than just a cookie: it represents hope, joy and generosity in an extraordinary display of kindness from strangers online and offline. And its history tells of one girl pursuing her goals to achieve greatness despite obstacles along her way.
