Offerman Lagavulin: If you’ve ever seen an episode of “Parks & Recreation,” you’re certainly aware that Nick Offerman’s character, Ron Swanson, is a scotch whiskey enthusiast, particularly of Lagavulin.

That devotion extends to Offerman himself, who partnered with the distillery in 2014 for several commercial pieces, and later released his own bottle of whisky, Lagavulin Offerman Edition, in 2019.

Nick Offerman lagavulin is Mind Blowing Scotch

Offerman and Lagavulin announced a new addition to the Offerman line today: Just in time for Father’s Day, or your own shopping, Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Guinness Cask Finish is available.

In a statement, Nick Offerman stated, “The opportunity to cooperate on this absolutely wonderful, smokey giggle-juice renews my gratitude for the basic things in life, like a father’s love and the good manners he taught me.”

The new limited-edition bottle is matured for four months in former Guinness Beer Casks from Maryland’s Open Gate Brewery.

The distillery claims that mixing the powerful peat and burnt wood flavours of Lagavulin with the roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and sweet caramel notes of Guinness casks creates a delightful excursion in sweet peat.

The shaky won a Double Gold Medal at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, as well as Nick’s father, Ric Offerman’s, mark of approval in the form of a hard nod and a handshake.

The latest film in the ongoing Lagavulin: My Tales of Whisky series, ‘Nick Offerman’s Father’s Day Part Five,’ captures the imaginative spirit of this cooperation.

Nick went to great measures to manufacture Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Guinness Cask Finish for his father, as shown in the video.

Now, Nick, Ric, and Lagavulin are happy to introduce their new after-work dram, which they recommend drinking plain or on ice – but always over whiskey stories.

You can watch the video here (it can’t be embedded because YouTube has an age restriction because it’s about whisky):

Offerman’s full MyTales of Whisky series is available on You Tube.

Every year for the previous four years, there have been recordings of Offerman and his parents that are worth a watch or twenty.

The $79.99 Single Malt will be available in the United States anywhere fine spirits are sold, as well as online at ReserveBar.com, Drizly.com, and the Drizly app, where shipping and delivery are available.
