Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660:  Hi, Guys. Today I will share some interesting information on the topic of Super review of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660. Please go on the article, and enjoy reading it.

Super review of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660

One cannot go wrong with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660. Super whether one is a budget gamer. It takes the GTX 1660 and clarifies it to get to that next level in terms of its performance.

One gets much-improved performance without having to leave the budget graphics card variety. One gets a better GPU with better graphics in providing the same value.

Most of the GPUs come with a much higher price amount. So, for budget seeing people hoping to get a great 1080p gaming without paying an extra amount. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super will offer the perfect solution.

Since it offers a better video memory and a quicker speed than the original 1660, it is a great GPU to found for anyone putting together or upgrading it on a budget gaming PC.

In both the price and performance, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super is the right between the 1660 and 1660 Ti.

It is nice and inexpensive to Nvidia Turing GPUs’ line since it is such great worth that this one may be the best graphics card for anyone.

The Price and Availability Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super at an online price of ₹1,11,999 on Amazon.

It is available today. Starting price at $229 is about £180, AU$330. It puts the GTX 1660 Super above the original GTX 1660 by just the price of $10, about £8, AU$15.

But, with the faster GDDR6 memory. One is getting a significant increase in performance for that slight price increase at this price point. It kind of pushes the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti out of quality.

One can get the same performance with the GTX 1660 Super but for just the $50, about £40, AU$70 less. A few months before, we recommended the GTX 1660 Ti product without even giving it a second to think.

But with the GTX 1660, the Super card does not have a reason to exist anymore.

The Features and chipset of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660

It is Super and based on the same product, TU116 GPU for both the GTX 1660 and the GTX 1660 Ti. They have the same 1,408 CUDA cores as it is in the original 1660. The big difference over the original graphics card is the light blow-up to the GDDR6 video memory.

It was resulting in an increase in memory speed from 8Gbps to 14Gbps. It is just as fast as the product is called VRAM in the vast scale powerful RTX 2080 Ti.

It might blow up to GDDR6 goes a long way to making the gap between the GTX 1660 and the GTX 1660 Ti. But it did not go all the way.

It is also important to note that this GPU does not have the RT. Tensor cores are the RTX 20-series of Turing graphics cards having. It means that if you can technically give ray tracing.

It is going to turn whatever game one tries to give it on into a slideshow. In more cases, it does on any other graphics card. During the testing, we have accidentally left ray tracing in Metro Exodus. Even the menu was near in place and unusable.

But at the end of the day, one cannot expect a graphics card in the weight class to compete with graphics cards that cost twice as much.

The GTX 1660 does not have RT cores, nor does the GTX 1660 Ti. It will only make sense for the GTX 1660 Super to be limited here.

One thing that someone should be aware of the ports. They are a bit limited on the GeForce GTX 1660 Super. We also tested the EVGA GTX 1660 Super SC Ultra, and it is limited to DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort.

It is not exactly a graphics card that one is going to run ten displays off. But we would have liked to see Nvidia that dropped the DVI port. Add in either a second HDMI or maybe even on a USB-C port.

Finally, if one picks this graphics card up, one will need external power to make it run. In this case, an 8-pin PCIe power connector.

It means that the GTX 1660 Super product does draw 127.4W alone in the most demanding situations. So one should make sure that they have at least a 500W power supply.

The Performance of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super is a graphics card. Which is especially compared to its corresponds. The GTX 1660 Super was about 5% slower than the GTX 1660 Ti that costs particularly more.

It was a whopping 14% faster than the GTX 1660 that it importantly replaces. The difference was even more narrow, and it is just 2% slower than the GTX 1660 Ti.

These performance wins continued over into this gaming. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super averaged 41 frames per second compared to the 38 scored by vanilla GTX 1660. The 44 scored by the 1660 Ti.

It might look like a minor performance difference, but it still matters a lot.

The less requiring Middle Earth Shadow of War is the GTX 1660 Super absolutely dominated to get an average of 79 fps at 1080p with the Ultra quality settings.

We feel this title is more groups than the average AAA game. So one can expect some killer performance in most of the games one throws at it. Games like Metro are a few and far between.

The GTX 1660 Super can handle some heat, but some cracks do start to show in it. The graphics card does manage to get a respectable 54fps in Middle Earth: Shadow of War.

But it is falling apart in Metro: Exodus, only managing to drag by with 32 fps. That is technically playable.

But it is a bit low for playing games on computers where 60fps is the name of the game. One can lower some settings to get a more comfortable experience.

The GTX 1660 Super is everything that could have asked it to be in terms of its performance. It fills the gap between the GTX 1660 and GTX 1660 Super beautifully.

We are just looking at the raw performance numbers, it type of makes the GTX 1660 Ti nothing. We are not sure that is what Nvidia was going for here. But that is 100% what happened.

The Final Decision

If someone on the market for the best graphics card for 1080p gaming. Then one is going to want the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super.

It is original GTX 1660 was already the best entry-level graphics card. It makes it better in every single way that Superseries has been a type of hit and miss.

The RTX 2080 is a notable flop. We cannot recommend the GTX 1660 Super enough.

1080p is the most famous resolution for computer gaming, and graphics cards in this price range are where most people will spend their money until the AMD Radeon RX 5500, which comes out in November.

Nvidia is a dominating part of the landscape. But it is not hard to see why.

So, this is the important information on the topic of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super review.
