Monika Schnarre, then 14 years old, became the youngest woman to ever take home the coveted “Supermodel of the World” title from the illustrious Ford Modeling Agency.
She was the youngest model to ever grace the covers of “American Vogue” and the coveted “Sports Illustrated” swimsuit issue, both at the age of 15.
Monika left modeling after a brief but impressive five-year career, completed high school with honors, and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting.
She was cast as Ivana, the main character, in the daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful shortly after moving to Los Angeles in 1987.
Since then, she has gone on to appear in a plethora of other television programs, such as Caroline in the City (1995), Charmed (1998), The King of Queens (1998), Total Recall 2070 (1999), Dead Man’s Gun (1997), Andromeda (2000), Mutant X (2001), and many more.
Additionally, she acted alongside Mimi Rogers and Anthony LaPaglia in the well-known indie film Bulletproof Heart and shared a cameo appearance with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1994 picture Junior (1994).
In the 2004 film Deluxe Combo Platter, she costarred with Marla Sokoloff and Jennifer Tilly as Linda Avery.
