Mecca S. Windsor was killed in a car accident on the U.S. 601 Route. It occurred early on Wednesday morning, January 11, 2023. The accident occurred in Eastover, Richland County.
It was near McEntire Joint National Guard Base.
Windsor was traveling south along the route when her Hyundai four-door sedan ran off the right side of the road at the intersection with Governor Heyward Road, as per Cpl. David Jones. Windsor was also killed when her vehicle collided with a tree.
Windsor was already dead when the ambulance arrived. While the investigation continued, Windsor’s body was taken to the hospital.
