Major Crimes cast is a spinoff of TNT’s popular crime drama series The Closer, airing from 2005-2012. The show follows the cases of Major Crimes Division of Los Angeles Police Department under Captain Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell), an ex-internal affairs officer forced to cope with disgruntlement among her team as well as challenges related to striking plea deals with violent criminals.
Furthermore, Rusty Beck (Graham Patrick Martin), Raydor’s foster son who becomes part of her family during serial killer trials appears as part of Major Crimes Division cases.

On Major Crimes, he plays Russell Taylor, Assistant Chief of Operations of the LAPD and boss to Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell).
Taylor oversees the Major Crimes Division as a strict yet ambitious leader who often clashes with Raydor over her decisions and methods; furthermore, he becomes involved with a cover up conspiracy following his son-in-law’s murder of a teenage girl; ultimately being shot dead by a sniper during season five.

Nadine Velazquez, best known as Emma Rios on My Name Is Earl (2005-209) and Flight (2012) as well as Snitch (2013) is an American actress. From 2009-15 she also co-starred on The League.
Emma Rios plays Emma Rios on Major Crimes; a deputy district attorney assigned to work in the Major Crimes Division who often disagrees with other prosecutor. She can often be found being assertive and assertive when engaging in legal battles against clients who cross her.
