After graduating high school, Lyzel enrolled at The Art Institute of Philadelphia to study graphic design. As a kid, Williams had an affinity for music so while designing, he learned more about being a DJ.
He worked as a senior graphics and interface designer at Intermedia Interactive Software company from 1993 to 2001, serving also as graphic artist at The Philadelphia Tribune from 1994 to 1995.
