Love Island USA season three will begin on CBS on Wednesday, July 7th, and reality fans will be in for a treat.

What is the format of Love Island UK?

The show will begin with 11 hopefuls from various walks of life getting to know one another in the villa, with bombshells thrown in to keep things interesting.

They participate in flirting challenges along the way in preparation for the weekly re-coupling, which will see single islanders ejected from the villa.

There will also be a separate villa thrown into the mix—Casa Amour—to test the couples’ trust, which is notorious for sparking break-ups and resulting in the most awkward of re-coupling ceremonies.

Four couples will advance to the Love Island final, but only one will be proclaimed the champion and receive the £50,000 prize.

In the finale, one partner will pick whether they want to split the money or keep it all to themselves, which is a nail-biting twist.

The prize money has always been split between the couples on Love Island, but this year could be the year when someone decides to keep it for themselves.

Who are the Love Island competitors in the United Kingdom?

To begin with, there are 11 competitors in the Love Island UK villa.

One Islander will be left single after the first recoupling, which will definitely make things intriguing to begin with.

Laura Whitmore returns to host the show, with her husband, Iain Stirling, providing amusing commentary for each episode.

“I am so pleased to be back hosting” Whitmore stated ahead of the show’s premiere. It’s been a year in which I believe we all need a little more love and fun in our lives, and I believe everyone, including myself, is ready for Love Island to return.

“I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the Villa.” I’ve never seen the villa in Mallorca, so I’ll most likely be there fangirling a little.

“To me, it’s almost like a person.” So I have to remind myself that I’m there to work, not just to be a fangirl.

“I haven’t met any of the Islanders yet, but I’ve heard from behind-the-scenes that they are a fantastic cast—quite it’s exciting.”
