Jenna Ryan, a real estate broker from Frisco, Texas, was charged on Friday with two offences linked to invading the Capitol, which she videotaped on a Facebook Live video in which she said, “Y’all know who to hire for your realtor, Jenna Ryan for your realtor.”
Vaughn A. Gordon of Lafayette, Louisiana, was detained on Jan. 9 after telling a throng gathering at the Louisiana state building that he had entered the United States Capitol on Jan. 6, which he publicly portrayed as a riot, saying, “I say riot because that’s what it was.”
Then-West Virginia state Rep. Derrick Evans (R) was one of the first to be arrested, shouting on a live stream, “Derrick Evans is in the Capitol!” as he broke in; he later resigned his state house position.
Larry Brock informed The New Yorker that he was one of the individuals photographed roaming about the Senate chamber with zip ties, which he said he had found and forgotten about.
Brock was freed from detention on Thursday, despite the FBI’s warning that he had mentioned violence and prosecutors’ request that he not be released until his trial.
Unexpected Fact
Former Marine Donovan Crowl also acknowledged to taking part in the Capitol riots to The New Yorker.
Crowl, who was photographed during the riots wearing an extremist “Oath Keepers” emblem, does not appear to have been apprehended or charged as of Friday afternoon.
