Janie liszewski : Eddie Van Halen, unlike many other rockers of the 1980s, was not a performer whose personal life took precedence over his music. The rocker, who died on Tuesday, was only married twice in his life
Janie Liszewski is Eddie Van Halen’s wife.
He was married to Janie Van Halen (née Liszewski) at the time of his death, and they had been together since 2008.
Van Halen’s first marriage, before to Liszewski, was to actress Valerie Bertinelli in 1981.
Wolfgang, the couple’s son, was born in 1991 and went on to play bass in his father’s and uncle’s bands.
Despite the fact that the couple’s divorce was finalised in 2007, Wolf shared a photo of the three of them together in October 2019.
On Tuesday, Bertinelli reacted to her son’s tribute to his late father on Twitter by posting a sequence of crushed hearts.
In 2009, Van Halen married Janie Liszewski. To her husband’s song “When It’s Love,” the stuntwoman turned PR walked down the aisle.
The wedding appeared to be a family affair, with EVH’s son Wolfgang serving as best man and his brother Alex officiating. Bertinelli himself was present.
Their honeymoon included stops in New York, Germany, and Van Halen’s native Netherlands.
Janie Van Halen is a publicist and the owner of High Profile Media, a public relations firm. Among her clientele is her husband’s band. Van Halen worked as a stuntwoman before becoming a publicist.
Mulholland Drive, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Along Came Polly, and Spider-Man 2 are among the films in which she has performed stunts. CSI: Miami and From Dusk Till Dawn are two of her acting credits.
Apart from exposure, Van Halen still seems to be interested in the stunt work she used to do.
She also ballroom dances with choreographer and actor Louie Martinez, according to her Instagram feed. The combo also appears to be a pro-wrestling team with a dance gimmick.
Lita Lamae, the manager of “King Louie,” looks to be played by Van Halen. Following the guitarist’s death, King Louie shared a photo of himself with the Van Halens on his Instagram storey on Tuesday.
Van Halen has shared a number of photos from her life with Eddie Van Halen on social media, including photos of the couple’s Pomeranian puppy and photos of herself and EVH.
Van Halen paid tribute to her husband on Instagram on Wednesday, posting a photo of the two of them on a beach.
“Saying goodbye is the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do, so instead I’ll say farewell and hope to see you soon in a world free of suffering and grief. Please keep an eye on Kody and me “she penned.
