Christie Brinkley’s son, Jack Brinkley-Cook, has launched a non-stop luxury service in the Hamptons

Jack Paris Brinkley Cook : As a member of an illustrious Hamptons family, Jack Brinkley-Cook will soon alter the way millennials and others visit Montauk and the surrounding areas.

It will be the most direct conveyance to the Hamptons, with premium accommodations and five-star service.

The 23-year-old son of iconic supermodel Christie Brinkley could easily spend his days surfing or modelling, but he is now a businessman and entrepreneur, starting ROVE with business partner and boyhood buddy Jake Sosne, 26.

Rove, which will begin this summer and use Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans to transport people between lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Hamptons, will be the most direct mode of transportation at a mid-level price point.

The pick-up and drop-off locations are in Downtown New York and Williamsburg, Brooklyn, respectively.

After the Surflodge Sunday music, there will be a service in the city.

Customers can establish a private charter with curbside service or a crowdsource, selling unsold tickets back on the ROVE network with by-the-seat, nonstop service, unlike Jitney and LIRR.

Passengers will receive a personalised beach tote bag with handy items for the voyage when they board ROVE.

Cynthia Rowley, a fellow Hamptonite designer, designed the gift totes, which are loaded with items from Jaden Smith’s JUST water, RX bar, More Labs, Lukes Organics, and Highline Wellness, as well as Christie Brinkley’s Bellisima Prosecco for the first runs.

Sixty SoHo, The William Vale, Tutto il Giorno, Topping Rose House, Blue & Cream, Montauk Beach House, and The Surf Lodge are among the renowned NYC/Hamptons businesses where Rove departs and returns.

I had the opportunity to speak with Jack and Jake about their new venture and their future goals.

How did you guys come up with the idea for ROVE?

Jack Brinkley-Cook (Jack Brinkley-Cook): “Jake and I were both born and raised in the Hamptons.

We both now reside in the city, and we’ve always thought there was space in the market for a ride service that was more direct and nonstop in its approach.

Because we are young in New York City, the majority of our friends and people with whom we spend time in both New York and the Hamptons live in Manhattan or Brooklyn.

There have never been any options from Downtown or Brooklyn, and we wanted to provide a direct service rather than the present option, which includes up to seven or eight stops before arriving at your location.”

Jake Sosne (Jake Sosne): “We both grew up in the Hamptons, and our families are quite close.

We even went to high school together. Jack and I have long dabbled with a variety of concepts, largely in the hospitality industry, to cater to our extensive social and family networks in both Manhattan and the Hamptons.

The only speedy option for young individuals like us is to take a BLADE helicopter, which costs $800 and is clearly not a practical option for many of us.

People have been moaning about the current options since they are not enjoyable.”

Jack Brinkley-Cook (Jack Brinkley-Cook): “On the New York City side, we partnered with the Sixty Hotel group in Manhattan and the William Vale Hotel in Brooklyn, and in Montauk, we partnered with the Montauk Beach House, Blue and Cream in East Hampton, Tutto il Giorno in both Southhampton and Sag Harbor, and Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton to create a very cool experience for our passengers. On Sundays, the Surf Lodge in Montauk hosts a music series that everyone attends, so instead of running to the train, we’ll have direct transportation after the event.”
