Naruto manga and anime series characters include several key figures, with Itachi Uchiha being one of them. His influence over both story development and Sasuke’s personality development was immense despite his tragic end; fans also took an immediate liking to him due to his tragic backstory and love for Sasuke that make him one of their favourites.

One of the most memorable scenes from Naruto is the itachi uchiha death scene; however, due to being reanimated later, Itachi actually dies twice throughout the story – once early in Shippuden and again much later during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

Itachi meets his end in Naruto despite initially appearing dead.

Itachi’s first death marks his permanent and conclusive exit from the series, occurring in chapter 393 of the manga (My Eyes) and episode 138 of the anime (The End).

Sasuke finally confronts Itachi after searching for him so long, engaging in an intense battle before Itachi suddenly collapses and dies before killing Sasuke – which left Sasuke puzzled and confused as Itachi appeared ready to kill Sasuke – but their fight abruptly comes to a halt before Sasuke could strike down with any sense of victory against Itachi. This left Sasuke shaken as Itachi seemingly won the match-up.

Tobi reveals to Sasuke later on that Itachi had always been trying to protect him, even during this fight. Itachi held back in an attempt to die at Sasuke’s hand – his illness being serious enough that this plan likely wasn’t long for living anyway – in order to give Sasuke his powers by taking their eyes.

Sasuke unwittingly transferred all of Itachi’s ocular jutsu to Sasuke, awakening his Mangekyo Sharingan. Thus, while it appeared that Sasuke killed an innocent Itachi, in reality Itachi carefully orchestrated events surrounding his first death for Sasuke’s benefit and ultimately marked its real endpoint.

Itachi dies twice and finally becomes inactive again

Itachi dies again later in the story after having been revived a second time – this occurs in chapter 590 of the manga entitled I Will Love You Always and episode 339 of the anime entitled “I Will Love You Forever”.

Kabuto Yakushi uses Reanimation Jutsu to resurrect Itachi along with several other fallen shinobi to strengthen his forces during the Fourth Shinobi World War, even if that means fighting Naruto and Killer Bee. Though Itachi may technically still be “alive”, they do not possess full control of themselves and must fight against Naruto and Killer Bee.

However, Itachi finds an opportunity to break Kabuto’s control by placing a crow inside Naruto during their last conversation and later extracting it again from Naruto’s mouth; once out, Itachi quickly regains his authority and teams up with Naruto and Killer Bee to confront Nagato, another reanimated shinobi controlled by Kabuto, whom They managed to defeat successfully.

Following this event, Itachi rejoins Sasuke in confronting Kabuto together. During this confrontation, Itachi used his genjutsu technique against Kabuto to force him to release Reanimation Jutsu and thus end it; This action caused all reanimated shinobi (including Itachi himself ) to return to their afterlives; This meant his second death signified the end of his reanimation since he never truly lived again after his first one.

Conclusion

Expand Tweet Essentially, Itachi Uchiha’s death at Sasuke’s hand was no accident but part of an elaborate plan designed to aid his brother gain power and increase influence. His love for Sasuke influenced many decisions he made regarding him – including this one.

As his second death signalled the end of his revived corpse’s control technique, Itachi no longer appeared in later parts of Naruto’s narrative; nonetheless, his impact and legacy continue to resonate strongly within it, underscoring his lasting significance within Naruto universe.
