  1. Alejandro Saab stars as Gabimaru:  the central figure in this tale. A former ninja, Gabimaru earned the moniker of “Gabimaru the Hollow” due to his emotionless and ruthless demeanor; all that mattered for him was finding his wife on this island if possible.
  2. Marisa Duran plays Sagiri Yamada Asaemon, Gabimaru’s executioner and partner. A skilled swordswoman belonging to an elite clan of executioners serving the Shogunate, she remains loyal in her duty while remaining both compassionate and curious about Gabimaru’s background.
  3. Jill Harris stars as Yuzuriha, another convict who joins Gabimaru’s group and excels at disguise and infiltration – using her hair like tentacles! She is playful yet flirtatious but harbors hidden ambitions.
  4. Reagan Murdock portrays Shion Yamada Asaemon, Sagiri’s younger brother and executioner. He partners up with Nurugai – a young girl claiming to be her grandmother- and is generally respectful and polite, although harboring deep resentments against his sister Sagiri.
  5. Ben Balmaceda plays Tenza Yamada Asaemon, another executioner partnered with Chobei Aza, a convict who used to be Gabimaru’s rival. Arrogant, prideful, and ambitious – seeking fame and glory through executioners – Tenza strives to prove himself as the best executioner possible and prove his venerability by outdoing Gabimaru at every opportunity.
  6. Cassie Ewulu portrays Nurugai, an unknown girl claiming to be Hoko’s granddaughter – an iconic ninja who had traveled before arriving on the island. Nurugai exudes cheerful innocence yet displays incredible strength and agility, an aspect which brings out its fullest potential in her character.
