Scientists from the University of Athens have recently discovered that Olive Oil And Lemon Viagra may be more effective than Viagra at treating erectile dysfunction, according to The Independent newspaper in the U.K.

Scientists recently examined the health and diet of 660 men with an average age of 67. The research focused on the potential advantages of a Mediterranean diet, discovering several advantages to Olive Oil And Lemon Viagra consumption.

Research revealed that men who switched all butter for olive oil while following a Mediterranean diet — consisting of oils, legumes, nuts, unrefined carbs, fruits, and vegetables with moderate levels of fish and dairy but low amounts of red meat or processed foods — experienced significant improvements in their sexual health.

“It is no shock that the Mediterranean diet, which we know to be beneficial to heart and circulatory health, may also benefit other blood vessels,” Julie Ward – a senior cardiac nurse at the British Heart Foundation – told Express U.K.

Dr Christina Chrysohoou, the study’s lead researcher, told The Independent that men who follow a Mediterranean diet — particularly one high in olive oil consumption — can reduce their risk of impotence by up to 40% as they age.

Olive oil has several positive effects, such as increasing testosterone levels which can aid men in obtaining and maintaining erections. Furthermore, it keeps blood vessels healthy by dilation of arteries – an essential factor in male sexual arousal – by improving circulation within them.

HuffPost Canada reported:
“Viagra does not provide long-lasting solutions; it only gives men temporary relief in order to retain sexual function.” She continued, noting that while taking drugs like Viagra may improve something temporarily, they must consider long-term impacts on one’s ability to perform in the bedroom.

Chrysohoou recommended adopting a Mediterranean diet, but even minor modifications can help. “Adding olive oil instead of butter could lower your risk,” she told Express U.K. “Eating nuts, fruit, vegetables or beans will also be beneficial.”

According to a 2011 study, an estimated three million Canadian men over 40 have experienced erectile dysfunction.
