Former The Voice Coach Miley Cyrus will return to NBC and Peacock this New Year’s Eve to host her second-ever Miley Cyrus New Year Eve Party to kick off 2023! This remarkable news unveiled during the NBC Upfronts presentation this summer.
Miley Cyrus’ New Year’s Eve Party 2021-22 was an enormous hit. Co-hosted with Saturday Night Live alumnus Pete Davidson, it featured performances from Jack Harlow, Billie Joe Armstrong, Brandi Carlile, Saweetie, Noah Cyrus, Anitta, 24kGoldn and Kitty Ca$h among others.
With an astounding 6.3 million viewers and becoming Twitter’s number-one trending NYE special – Miley’s event set the bar high for many other great performances at this year-end celebration!
Abby and her dad Harry are deeply emotional people. This emotional distance is what really sets them apart from one another. Last year’s special produced by SNL creator Lorne Michaels, who will again produce it in 2022-2023.
Cyrus told Variety in June 2022: “Lorne Michaels is an absolute master at improvising and creating shows of this scale – he does it every week in five days!” Cyrus continued, “Everyone wants to watch something real and honest and genuine – something relatable to how people celebrate holidays at home.”
