Cyberpunk 2077 character creation : While further repairs, patches, and potential DLC are still in the works for Cyberpunk 2077, some players have discovered ways to pass the time.

Players in ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ are collaborating to create the ‘Perfect’ V, sharing character creation presets.

One thing I’ve noticed while reading forums is that the character maker is a popular feature of the game.

While it doesn’t offer the most detailed customization, it does produce some unique characters. And now the players are cooperating.

I’m noticing something akin to a desire to create the “ideal” V, one that players (mostly men) regard as suitably attractive (usually female).

In fact, finding a lot of male V preset sharing was difficult, and you’ll notice that the “best picks” for female V have a similar look.

Certain players use post-launch mods to improve their Vs, but you may acquire a comparable look by simply following some basic settings.

I attempted it with three different “popular” Vs I saw, but obviously how someone looks in game depends a lot on lighting (no V has ever looked good in a bathroom mirror), while some light is just right and creates these unique pictures.

You can fiddle with these by creating a New Game and without saving it, which gives you immediate access to the creator. Here’s what happened when I tried to follow “instructions.”

There are several similar threads here, as you can see. Eyes 14 and nose 5 are present in all three Vs. Hair 5 is a very popular style. And, of course, these Vs are all white.

I’d also want to see some gifts for some black, brown, or Asian Vs, but they are regrettably more difficult to find.

If I can locate any, I’ll post them here, or I’ll make some up myself. And, of course, masculine V settings are welcome. Here’s my Asian V from my primary console gameplay, though I don’t recall her presets beyond what’s shown:

It’s a fascinating idea, because players want their Vs to look good in-game without having to redo if they get into the world and realise they don’t.

It’s the old “Mass Effect” syndrome at work once more. And, considering how devoted you become to your own character over the course of the tale, I do find a lot of similarities between “committing” to my Commander Shepard and “committing” to V in Cyberpunk. Anyway, I found it to be intriguing.
