Clippers Clobber Lakers behind Reggie Jackson’s Season : The Clippers beat the Lakers thanks to Reggie Jackson’s season-high 32 points.

For the first time since the 2015-2016 season, the Clippers sweep the Lakers in a four-game season series.

Reggie Jackson scored a season-high 36 points and added nine assists and eight rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 132-111 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, March 3. (Friday, March 4, Manila time).

The Clippers beat the Lakers

The Clippers extended their winning streak over the Lakers to seven games, thanks to Ivica Zubac’s 19 points and nine rebounds.

For the first time since the 2015-2016 season, the Clippers swept a four-game season series between the two clubs. Last season, the teams only played three games, all of which were Clippers triumphs.

The Clippers went on a 23-0 run early in the second half to seize control of the game and win their fifth straight game overall, including two against the Lakers.

The Lakers dropped their fourth straight game as star Anthony Davis went down with a right foot injury.

LeBron James had 26 points and 8 rebounds, while Russell Westbrook added 17 points and 8 rebounds. For the seventh time in their last eight games, they have lost.

The Clippers took the lead for good with a 9-0 run at the end of the first quarter and the start of the second.

They led by as many as 17 points in the second quarter before the Lakers went on a 14-0 run to cap the first half and come within 66-63.

After trading baskets to start the second half, the Clippers took control with a run of 23 points. After shooting 63.9 percent (14-of-22) in the third quarter, they lead 106-81 going into the fourth.

The Clippers finished the game with a 55.4 percent field goal percentage and a 63 percent (17-of-27) three-point shooting percentage.

The Lakers shot 48.8% (41 of 48) from the field and 34.3 percent (12 of 35) from beyond the arc.

With Zubac and Isaiah Hartenstein at the centre position, the Clippers got a total of 31 points and 14 rebounds. They also had a 46-36 rebounding average overall.

For the Clippers, Marcus Morris Sr. had 14 points, while Hartenstein and Robert Covington each had 12. Luke Kennard tallied 11 points.
