Cheryl Hines, born September 21, 1965, is an American actress, director, and producer.
She is best known for her role as Larry David’s wife, Cheryl on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. For this role, she was nominated for two Emmy Awards.
Her starring role on ABC’s sitcom Suburgatory was as Dallas Royce. In 2009, she made her directorial debut with the film Serious Moonlight.

Cheryl Hines Career
Hines was a waitress and a television reporter before she got her acting break. In 1996, Hines also appeared in an episode of the Dating Game. She wasn’t selected for the episode.
Hines started her acting career performing improv comedy at the Groundlings Theatre. Lisa Kudrow was one of the people she studied with.
