Chad Javon Johnson was born in Miami, Florida, on January 9, 1978. In 1997, he graduated from Miami Beach Senior High School and attended Langston University, where he did not play football.
He went on to play football at Santa Monica College in California after that. Finally, after being recruited by OSU football coach Dennis Erickson, he transferred to Oregon State University in 2000.
Career in Professional Football
Johnson’s professional football career began in 2001, when the Cincinnati Bengals selected him with the 36th overall choice in the second round of the NFL draught.
He had a strong start to his career, setting a Bengals franchise record with 1,432 yards in 2005.

He agreed to a plea deal that included a year of probation, but in May 2013, a warrant for his arrest was issued for allegedly breaking the terms of his probation.
He confessed and was sentenced to thirty days in prison, although he only served seven days and was released after apologising to the court. Johnson is the father of eight children.
