Barbie Teaser Trailer: It’s amazing to live in plastic! Warner Bros. Pictures finally released the teaser trailer for Barbie after generating much buzz with its first look images. Based on Mattel’s iconic toy, the film stars Margot Robbie as the title role and Ryan Gosling as Ken.
Barbie will be the first live action film about the doll. It was introduced in 1959. A number of animated films that were based on Barbie had already been shown on television. Watch the trailer to learn more about the film.

Margot Robbie appears then as the iconic character in a vintage black-and-white striped swimsuit with her hair in a ponytail. The original doll’s white frame sunglasses were also supported by Robbie. The visual is accompanied by Richard Strauss’ Also Sprach Zarathustra.
Teaser also shows the Barbie hot-pink world. Other important characters like Simu Liu and Ryan Gosling make an appearance, as well as Ken and Simu. Barbie will be released in theatres on July 21, 2023. Enjoy the fun trailer.
The Film will be a comedy on Male Patriarchy, and Beauty Standards
Will Ferrell plays the role of Mattel’s CEO in the film. He recently spoke out about the film’s message and stated that it was “in my humble opinion, a perfect example of high and low art.”
He said, “It’s an loving homage to Barbie and, at the time, couldn’t be more satirical – just an amazing comment about male patriarchy, women in society, and why Barbie’s been criticized and yet, why every little girl still wishes to play with Barbie.”
According to Barbie’s official synopsis, the film will challenge society’s standards of beauty. Barbie is expelled from Barbieland because she was not a good-looking doll. She sets out to live in the human world and finds true happiness.
Barbie was directed by Greta Gerwig, Academy Nominated Director
Greta Gerwig is the project’s director. She also wrote the script with Noah Baumbach. Gerwig and Baumbach are both well-known for their ability to create complex stories that portray harsh realities with humor and wit.
Robbie, Gosling and Ferrell will be starring alongside Barbie.
