After years of hard work, Twitch streamer Anne Munition has signed a multi-year deal

Annemunition : Anne Munition, who prefers to remain anonymous for privacy reasons, is a self-described workaholic.

She’ll most likely be working on her Twitch broadcast in some way while she’s not entertaining thousands of people at once, whether it’s through social media promotion, upgrading graphical assets, or creating on-demand videos for her other content channels.

While she spends about eight hours a day on stream playing games and entertaining viewers, you can bet that once the stream is over, she is nearly always working on something else.

This is nothing new for her; she has always pushed herself to work more, working three jobs as a young lady while also being a full-time college student.

As she transitioned to a full-time streamer, her innate need to work continually has been both a benefit and a curse, allowing her to quickly ascend up the ranks of Twitch but also putting a strain on her mental health at times.

“It’s crucial to have drive and motivation, as well as to be meticulous about working; it’s extremely easy to fall behind, but it’s also a double-edged sword since I sometimes work too much,” Anne explains.

“I believe this can also contribute to exhaustion. It’s been a huge challenge for me to strike a balance between my desire to work all the time and my mental health, and this year has been particularly difficult.”

With the pandemic affecting almost everyone on the planet, the year 2020 has been a hardship for everyone.

On the surface, it may appear that streamers have had it easy throughout this period; after all, they often work alone, from home, via the internet, thus the pandemic hasn’t had much of an influence on their business.

In reality, the lockout resulted in an increase in Twitch viewing, thus some are praising it.

But, in reality, many streamers, including Anne, have had a particularly difficult year.

Her persistent need to work has been aided by having to spend more time at home, and while building a strong community around her streams with whom she communicates on a regular basis, the social side of life has proven difficult in 2020.

“I appreciate the part of my job where I get to talk to people for many hours during the day and hang out with them, but it’s not a substitute for spending out with people in real life,” Anne says.

“This year has been particularly difficult for me, and I imagine many other streamers like me, who rely on things like conventions, competitions, and other in-person events because we don’t spend a lot of time going to an office with coworkers or that sort of thing where we get face to face time because we don’t spend a lot of time going to an office with coworkers or that sort of thing where we get face to face time because we don’t spend a lot of time going to As a result, it’s been difficult for me.

I miss those events a lot because they break up the monotony of broadcasting every day, seven days a week, for 52 weeks a year. So it’s challenging, but I enjoy it.

Fortunately for Anne, she has spent her time on Twitch cultivating one of the more clean communities on the platform, which is notorious for having difficult-to-manage chat sections.

She takes a firm position against toxicity and offensive behaviour in her chat and is not afraid to time out or ban any people who do not follow her community guidelines, which has allowed her to enjoy community interaction more than other streamers.

“It was critical for me to have a community of individuals that I enjoyed being around every day because I didn’t want to go to work and have to deal with hundreds or thousands of people who didn’t treat me with the respect that I believe I deserve,” Anne says.

“And it’s all too easy for people to forget social decorum on the internet and treat others as if they aren’t humans.

So, especially having a channel with the number of viewers that I do, I wanted it to be a destination that I enjoyed going to every day.

I get a sense of who they are as individuals, and it was crucial for me to have that connection with them, and to be able to truly enjoy talking to them and getting to know them, since some of these folks I’ve known for years.”

Anne began streaming in 2014 and became a Twitch partner after two months, quitting her job to pursue her dream of becoming a full-time broadcaster just over a year after she first went live.

She is one of the fastest Twitch streamers to reach the top tier of broadcasters, and she has continued to build her audience in the year since, now having over 628,000 followers on the streaming service alone.

Finding success on Twitch isn’t easy, and while Anne points out that it was arguably easier when she first started streaming compared to now because there were fewer people streaming, there’s no denying that her constant commitment to hard work and decision to build a close-knit and dedicated community played a major role in her success, as the very humble streamer admits.

“I honestly don’t know what I would attribute to my success or, I guess, my very swift success in comparison to certain other people,” Anne adds.

“I am aware that I put a lot of effort into what I do behind the scenes, and I am aware that I put a lot of effort into making my stream as high-quality and well-thought-out as it is.

I don’t want to boast, but I believe I put a lot of effort into it, and I believe it shows on the other side.”

Anne has signed a new multi-year exclusivity contract with Twitch, the platform she has called home for many years, after years as a full-time and very successful broadcaster with sponsorship partnerships with a variety of hardware companies and even lifestyle brands like Red Bull.

Anne will stay on Twitch for the foreseeable future, live streaming only on the Amazon-owned site.

“Anne Munition’s channel and presence on Twitch exemplify the objective of our service: to provide a space for communities to develop and thrive via meaningful dialogues and friendly online environments,” stated Michael Aragon, SVP of Content at Twitch.

“Anne Munition has made it her mission to provide a safe space for individuals online since joining Twitch in 2014.”

You can tell how much she loves about her community when she streams a battle royale or simply goes live to check in.

We are honoured to continue our collaboration with Anne Munition, and we look forward to bringing her content and optimism to even more people in the coming years.”

Anne is likely to expand much more thanks to a large exclusivity deal, as well as other sponsorship arrangements and cash from supporters.

She intends to continue streaming every day, and in the months and years ahead, she hopes to amuse even more people on Twitch.

Despite the fact that these financial partnerships have improved her security and secured her future as a full-time streamer for many years, she will continue to work outrageous hours to ensure that she is giving the finest material possible.

That is simply who she is, and it is unlikely to change.
